Meet the Team
Richard (Dick) Dvorak is the President of Buildscapes, Inc. His wife, Elizabeth Dvorak, founded the Workscapes in 1998. Dick is a graduate of Rollins College in Winter Park, Florida where he earned a B.A. degree in Business. He has extensive experience in executive management and worked in upper management for several national organizations prior to the founding of Workscapes. Recognized for his strong leadership skills, Dick effectively inspires his team and passionately advocates a balance between career and family life for both himself and his employees.
Elizabeth is the Owner and CEO of Workscapes and build|scapes and has been in the industry over twenty-four years. “Family First” is Elizabeth’s philosophy and an integral part of the Workscapes environment and tradition. In addition, they continue to focus on building strong, mutually beneficial client relationships, offering a variety of products, and actively engaging in the community. Elizabeth has worked with prestigious clients such as Darden, CNL, HD Supply, NASCAR and Adventist Health Systems.
Ryan has a dedicated passion in building relationships as well as delivering the best results that benefit all parties involved. He has been with Workscapes/Build-scapes for over four years and is a Central Florida native. He graduated from UCF with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing. He believes in the off-site construction solution and enjoys helping clients adopt and understand the process of how it will benefit them in the long run. Ryan enjoys the outdoors and spending time with his family and 3 dogs.
As the new A+D Specialist for Build-scapes Inc. in Tampa Bay, my mission is to increase specification sales by educating and inspiring the A+D community as to how Build-scapes can offer the most beneficial, perfectly appointed solutions to all of their needs. My goal is to work collaboratively with the Workscapes team toward recognition as the ‘go to’ for major Corporate, Healthcare and Higher Education projects. When they think of interior space, they will think of Build-scapes first.
Will Dvorak grew up in the Dealer business. He started as an installer for Workscapes when he was 18 and worked on the Healthcare manufacturing side before rejoining the dealer. His previous experience was with the Herman Miller Dealership in Southern California. He was an Account Executive and worked with Higher Education, Government, Healthcare and Private Enterprise entities. He joined the Workscapes team in 2019. He is passionate about helping clients use their space as a tool to be higher performing and attract and retain talent. He is a Graduate of Furman University where he played Baseball.
Ken manages workflow from the initial planning stages to the post-installation walk-through ensuring that your project is kept on target by communicating priorities and project critical details to other team members. Ken is responsible for site visits, quoting service installs and delivery, client walk through, attending construction meetings related to installs, verifying punch items needed, and working with the Customer Service Manager to ensure client satisfaction. In is 21 yers of experience, Ken has managed numerous successful projects.
Don brings 42 years of experience in Operations of flooring from start to finish. His position will focus on all aspects of flooring from installation and sales to management of field operations.
As an NCIDQ certified interior designer, Shannon is responsible for specification and design for Build-Scapes. Her attention to detail helps ensure a well thought out solution from initial design to the finished installation. Shannon joined Workscapes in 2015 and specialized for several years in Healthcare Design before joining the Build-Scapes division. She graduated from Florida State University with a Bachelor of Science in Interior Design.
Lena will handle all parts of the order process from end-users to vendors, to manufacturers, to project managers. She serves the critical function of monitoring shipments, scheduling deliveries and expertly handling all phases of the Build-scapes order process. Lena is also responsible for warranty, repair and service request.
